La ciencia representa a la vez un sistema de conocimientos estructurados que refieren al estudio, investigcióna e interpretción de fenómenos naturales, sociales y artificiales del mundo, como también un método de conocimiento, basado en observaciones y experimentaciones en ámbitos específicos, las cuales deben ser organizados y clasificados sobre la base de principios explicativos ya sean de forma teórica o práctica. En base a estos se generan preguntas y razonamientos, se construyen hipótesis, se deducen principios y se formulan teorías, leyes generales y sistemas organizados.

Science represents at the same time a system of structured knowledge that refers to the study, research and interpretation of natural, social and artificial phenomena of the world, as well as a method of knowledge, based on observations and experimentations in specific areas, which must be organized and classified on the basis of explanatory principles, whether theoretical or practical. Based on these, questions and reasoning are generated, hypotheses are constructed, principles are deduced and theories, general laws and organized systems are formulated.
